The Challenge
The challenge was to bring together a wide range of interconnected features into a seamless and intuitive experience. From real-time product availability and vending machine discovery to memberships, loyalty rewards, digital wallets, and payments, the platform needed to simplify a complex ecosystem while remaining fast, scalable, and easy to navigate across both web and mobile.

Design system & components
With a complex product spanning web and mobile, consistency had to be built in from the start. I established a scalable design system from the ground up, defining visual foundations, reusable components, states, and interaction patterns. Starting with atomic elements and progressing into more complex components, the system created a shared language across the product — making the UI more consistent, efficient to design, and easier to scale.

Fully responsive application
The experience was designed mobile-first, then scaled into a fully responsive system across desktop and larger screens. Beyond personal devices, the UI was also adapted for vending machine kiosks, creating one cohesive experience across three distinct contexts — from a phone in your hand to the screen directly on the machine.

The result is a cohesive digital ecosystem that connects mobile, desktop, and vending machine kiosks through one scalable experience. By turning complex functionality into clear user journeys and supporting it with a flexible design system, the project created a strong foundation for a product that can evolve alongside its users and business.
